Due to all the rain the 2 other gorges (Hancock and Hamersley)which we were meant to explore were actually closed as there was just so much water in them they were impassable.
So Tom decided that we could do a hike up Mt Bruce, which is the second highest Mountain in WA.

We headed off early and took some sunrise photos of trees and flowers along the landscape which is just so vast and orange. I loved it.

It was a hot day so we had plenty of water and a packed lunch as the hike took us around 4 hours to go up and back. Some areas were quite steep and rough but we had 360 degree views taking in the surrounding landscape including the mines and the kilometre long mining trains.

It was a fun adventure which we all enjoyed before we headed back to Kalamina Gorge for sunset photos.
